Casey & Andrew

It’s been a little while since I last blogged a full wedding! This is because I have changed the way my couples receive their final images, so it does involve a slightly longer wait between posts. I hope the wait is worth it and that you enjoy all the lovely weddings that will be appearing here soon!

This wedding, featuring Casey and Andrew, was held at Longview Winery. Interestingly, I had photographed a wedding at Longview on the exact same Friday the year prior, so it was a great little ‘full circle’ occasion. Not to mention the fact that Casey and Andrew are family of one of my January 2011 couples, Iris & Tom. It was fantastic to see familiar faces again and be a part of another family wedding!

I loved being a part of Casey and Andrew’s day; they are both warm and friendly, and very relaxed, happy, down-to-earth people. They created a celebration filled with some beautiful stylistic touches (have a peek at the gorgeous flowers and Casey’s dress to see what I mean) and a very moving ceremony (I loved hearing about how they first got together – I think they both knew they’d found “the one” very quickly!) Despite the summer heat, we had some great fun capturing portraits (or at least I did? Poor Casey’s flowers were being stalked by a horse in the paddock!)

Casey and Andrew have travelled extensively together and soon embark on their massive honeymoon adventure overseas. To Casey and Andrew, I want to say a big thank you for welcoming me into your wedding and allowing me to capture it for you – I hope your honeymoon and your future is as wonderful as your wedding was! xx
