Tracey & Grant
Tracey and Grant were married in March at the Golden Grove Uniting Church. There (almost literally) wasn’t a cloud in the sky that day. Everybody was so relaxed and really having a great time being a part of the celebrations.
After the ceremony, we headed to Uleybury Winery for some photos in the barrell room. We found some gorgeous bougeanvillea flowers, and the girls very quickly spotted an old tractor they were keen to use as a photo backdrop. I really enjoyed photographing at Uleybury – some of you may recall a wedding I photographed there last year (Dena and Nathan). If I have my facts correct, I believe that Dena (also of Patricia and Nathan’s wedding bouquet fame) and Nathan’s wedding was in fact the first wedding reception (and ceremony) to have been held there.
The reception was an absolutely beautiful occasion. Guests mingled and laughed, enjoying the great wood-oven pizza and other nibbles. The speeches were incredibly moving – they were humorous but full of so much genuine emotion that it nearly blurred up my viewfinder.
Tracey and Grant really trusted me to take a lot of artistic liberty on the day. I felt really welcomed by their families (thank you to Auntie Pat for the lunch and the chat!) and had a great time immersing myself in their celebrations.
To Tracey and Grant: good luck with your big move – and congratulations on finding one another’s soul mate!
