Lucinda & Jarryd

Lucinda and Jarryd are so lovely. And cute. They’re high school sweethearts, and the joy seemed to radiate on their wedding day. They found me through Jarryd’s cousin, who is a past groom – and groomsman! – of mine, so it was great to see some familiar faces again!

It was a hot day – strangely enough, given the sporadic weather we’ve enjoyed over the past 2-3 months, it was definitely the hottest wedding day I’ve photographed in recent times, despite being at the beginning of November. The kind of heat where your shoes burn up the soles of your feet and the camera burns your nose! But the loveliness of the day of course distracted me (and I suspect, Lucinda and Jarryd!) from the heat, and then we were all rewarded with a cool change, a breeze and some soft cloud cover, just in time for our photos at Waterfall Gully.
