Iris & Tom

Iris and Tom celebrated with a beautiful wedding day, starting at the Old Government House at Belair and finishing with their reception at Belair Country Club.

I met Iris and Tom the year before their wedding and was struck by how relaxed, warm and easygoing they were. I knew then how much I wanted to photograph their wedding and was so thrilled when they later chose me as their photographer.

They had a graphic designer friend design their wedding motif and stationery – gorgeous little black birds. Iris’ bridesmaids (her sister and friend) spent many hours replicating – by hand – the black birds onto their tier of cupcakes. The ceremony was held at the Old Government House in Belair, which was my first wedding there and therefore very exciting, followed by a gorgeous reception at the Belair Country Club.

The entire day was such a fun, joyful occasion and Iris and Tom had some very special people around them. I loved getting to know their family and friends, and their wonderful bridal party.

Iris and Tom themselves are just beautiful, warm and happy people, inside and out, and it was such a privilege to capture their day. Thank you so much!
