Rachel & Matt

When Rachel first booked me for her wedding, to be held on the groom’s family property in Kersbrook, I didn’t realise then that I was quite closely associated with Matt’s family and even Rachel herself. It turns out that I went to high school with Matt’s sister, and that Rachel and many of her friends were within a year or two of my own.

So, fast-forward to a beautiful sunny November day, and Rachel and Matt were ready to tie the knot. Rachel and Matt wanted a really relaxed vibe for the day and so they held everything, including the ceremony, on the beautiful family property. A marquee was set up on the tennis courts; caterers came in to set up a yummy-looking buffet; and so many of the cute little details were thoughtfully put together themselves.

It wasn’t just the details that made the day beautiful; it really was the atmosphere of completely happiness and celebration that made it special. You couldn’t wipe the smiles off Rach and Matt’s faces. They are a gorgeous couple, very much in love and so comfortable with each other.

I adored spending time with Rachel, Matt and their bridal party, and seeing so many familiar faces. It really was a day to remember.

You could SMELL the beautiful sweets buffet from the other side of the marquee.

Now, this is what Cute looks like:

Biggest congratulations, Rachel and Matt – thank you so much! x
